My sweet friend, Sandy, took time out of her morning today to drive me and wait while I had my first ever colonoscopy. I love you dearly, Sandy, and I thank you for taking care of me today.
As for the procedure, it was fine. The doctor found and removed one polyp, which will be sent out to the lab. I’ll get the results in a week or so but don’t expect it to be anything.
Thank you for posting this. As a survivor of stage 3c colon cancer, I appreciate you sharing that you had this routine procedure. I don’t feel like much light is shed on colonoscopies.
