Friday night, I was awakened in the middle of the night by an itchy spot on my back. Right in the center, impossible to reach, and extremely persistent. I reached behind my pillows for the back scratcher, but it wasn't there. Sigh.... I raised my head, looked across Jamie, and spied it on his nightstand. Drat! I knew I had a choice: either reach across Jamie for the backscratcher or get up and walk around the bed for the backscratcher. Neither was a good choice. I didn't want to risk waking Jamie by reaching across, and I didn't especially want to get out from under the warm covers.
I itched my back as best I could (not very good) against the bed. "I'll make sure this never happens again," I vowed sleepily as I drifted off.
Today, happiness arrived in an envelope!
Sometimes it's the little things, ya know?
Awww. Good for you!!! Little things are awesome to be happy about because they happen so much more often and Little things make you happy then thats success!
Our back scratchers are all $1 bamboo ones from Walmart. I bought the first one so I could keep track of our AppleTv remote. I attached the remote to it as we kept losing track of the tiny elusive remote. But the greyhounds love being remotely scratched by the bamboo scratcher. It puts them in a trance. So funny to see.
