It's been four weeks since last we saw Kevin, and man, I miss him. All the squirrels disappeared from my yard at about the same time, so I don't necessarily think something has happened to him.
On the last day I saw him, he came down and spent about an hour with me. I always gave him as much time as he wanted, never rushed him away. I sure could use a visit from him, though I imagine he's quite wilded up after four weeks of no handling. I'd just love to see his sweet face.
I misread the story😌 I hope he comes home soon.
A young squirrel just started showing up at my bird feeders a week or so ago. I think of Kevin every time I see it and wonder how he’s doing. We haven’t had many squirrels over the years, mostly because there were no mature trees in our neighborhood for them to shelter in. Now, we have some maturing trees, but with 2 greyhounds occasionally in the yard, I’m sure the squirrels are ever wary.
