Tonight I went through all the images captured at Erin & TJ's engagement session at the Southeastern Railway Museum, and I can see trouble ahead. Soooooo much good stuff--how do I narrow it down to a manageable number? I love all of it!
True story: we met for the very first time at the museum on Saturday, but we fell in immediately like we were family. I always start my session with new clients with what I call the "awkward photos." You have to start somewhere, you have to get to know each other, and you have to get comfortable with each other. Well. Very first scene, and this is what I get from Erin & TJ. I loved it! And I'd say we were pretty comfortable together right off the bat.
Here's that hallway again, and swoon....I love this image. I think I could have done the whole session with them in this hallway.
But the mail car was waiting, and I KNOW I could have done the whole session here. When I pulled this image up, BAM! My new favorite! I love everything about this--the movement, her dress, her hair....it's perfection!
Have I mentioned to y'all that TJ likes trains? He was so tickled to be at the museum, and well, he got distracted once or twice. No worries! Erin pulled him right back in.
Alright, maybe not RIGHT back in, but she got him eventually....
The last car we visited was the Washington Club Car, and it is a fabulous 30's/40's period car. It's like stepping back in time. Soft music playing, and the perfect spot to end an evening.
This is just the tip of the iceberg with this session. Lots and lots to go through. They were a dream to photograph, and the location was just the icing on the cake.
what a cool location for engagement photos. This couple really did their homework and clothing choice too. Outstanding photos!
