I'm not an astrophotographer. I don't have the right equipment, and I live in an area with lots of light pollution. However, when presented with an event that hasn't occurred in 800 years, heck yeah, I'm gonna go out with my not-quite-adequate equipment and my bare-bone knowledge and take a couple photos.
Two points of light---that's all it looks like. But I know, and now you know, that those points of light happen to be Saturn & Jupiter.
And a little something of the beautiful moon.
