Red Letter Day

I had a great appointment today with Dr. Ghazi! He and Jodi were amazed at the amount of healing I’ve done in the last week. And while he still won’t allow me to do any light pedaling on my stationary bike or take a gentle yoga class, I can do some walking and stretching. I also got two of the four drains taken out, and that alone felt like a major victory!

Best of all, tonight, for the first time in over a month, Roscoe is getting to sleep in the bed with us. He’s happy. Tomorrow night will be Jack’s turn.

Yay for every little step that takes us a little closer to normal! And thank you, thank you, thank you for all the love, support, prayers, well wishes, good thoughts, positive energy, calls, texts, and cards. I love all of you!
